This new book LogoType should give you all some perspective on your type design project. Although few of you will go on to be typeface designers there are so many commercial applications of the skills you have learnt. LogoType is full of 1300 typographic logos or logotypes and is a wonderful resource.

David Pearson was mentioned in the lecture on Wednesday. He does some great typographic book covers. He also uses a limited colour palette which is beautiful. Check it out at www.davidpearsondesign.com/
